Portfolio Property Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations for multiple residential buildings (500 units)
  • Provide direction and support to on-site managers and caretakers
  • Oversee leasing, inspections, maintenance, renovations, and turnovers via Yardi Breeze
  • Implement systems for standardized tenant management processes and procedures across properties
  • Prepare market analysis on rental rates, implement leasing marketing strategies
  • Handle escalated tenant issues and ensure legal compliance (RTA, PIPA, ), review and resolve Tenant delinquencies
  • Tenant communications
  • Conduct site visits, including reviewing units on turn over for required improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor service standards
  • Oversee budgeting and control costs to keep projects within budget
  • Oversee 24 hour emergency response
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in property management, with a proven track record in managing residential multi family properties
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong English communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Clear Criminal Record Check as this is a position of trust

Strong Assets:

  • BC Property Management License
  • Yardi Breeze or Voyager proficiency
  • Experience with large-scale operators/REITs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

  • Property management: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • BC Property Management License (preferred)
